Maul, once a villain, is now the protagonist, raising intriguing moral questions. Joining him is Brander Lawson (Wagner Moura), a former bounty hunter turned respected police detective on Janix, who, along with his droid partner Two-Boots (Richard Ayoade), will hunt Maul.
