Bears Dominate Browns! Instant Player Grades & Game Recap | NFL Week 15 (2026)

What a thrilling experience that was! The Chicago Bears showcased a commanding performance against the Cleveland Browns from the opening whistle to the final seconds, providing fans with the comprehensive effort they had eagerly anticipated against a struggling opponent. Now, our focus shifts to the upcoming showdown with Green Bay!

Quick Grades for the Bears Players

Offense

Quarterback Caleb Williams | Grade: A

Caleb Williams delivered what I consider one of his standout performances of the season. He effectively managed the offense, demonstrated impressive efficiency in his passing, and maintained a sense of control throughout the game. His second touchdown pass to DJ Moore was nothing short of extraordinary—a risky yet breathtaking throw that, while perhaps not advisable to attempt often due to its inherent danger, truly highlighted his talent.

Running Backs Kyle Monangai & D’Andre Swift | Grade: A

D’Andre Swift had an exceptional game! Meanwhile, Kyle Monangai ran hard but faced challenges with limited opportunities in the middle. Swift showed remarkable determination, managing to create plays even when the lanes were tight.

Wide Receiver DJ Moore | Grade: A

After being largely invisible in the previous week against Green Bay, DJ Moore made a significant impact in the absence of Rome Odunze, catching two touchdown passes. While he still experiences fluctuations in performance, this was undoubtedly a standout day for him.

Wide Receiver Luther Burden III | Grade: B+

He started off strong! Although he had one drop that was uncharacteristic, his overall contributions were solid. Each game shows improvement in his chemistry with Caleb Williams, which is promising for the team's future.

Tight End Cole Kmet | Grade: B

Kmet experienced a tough drop and left the game early due to injury, but he remains a key threat both in the running and passing game.

Tight End Colston Loveland | Grade: B+

Loveland continued his trend of solid performances, proving to be an increasingly vital component of the offense.

Offensive Line | Grade: B+

The offensive line performed well, executing effective runs and mostly containing Myles Garrett. Overall, it was a commendable effort.

Defense

Defensive Line | Grade: A

The defensive line was relentless today, pressuring quarterback Shedeur Sanders and effectively shutting down the run game. Austin Booker stood out with several impressive plays.

Linebackers | Grade: A

They excelled in run defense and held their ground against Harold Fannin Jr. in coverage, displaying strength and discipline.

Secondary | Grade: B

Overall, the secondary played reasonably well, although they did allow a couple of deep catches to Isaiah Bond that could have been avoided.

Special Teams

Kicker Cairo Santos | Grade: D

Unfortunately, missing short field goals is unacceptable; he needs to improve in this area.

Punter Tory Taylor | Grade: A

Taylor had an impressive outing, pinning the Browns deep in their territory early on and delivering a solid performance throughout the game.

Coaching

Head Coach Ben Johnson | Grade: A

The Bears came out ready to compete from the very start. The offense was both efficient and well-balanced. Although a few decisions regarding play-calling and time management weren’t his finest moments, he deserves credit for the overall preparation.

Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen | Grade: A

Dennis Allen orchestrated a defensive strategy that kept Shedeur Sanders scrambling and completely neutralized the Browns' running game. This was one of the most dominant defensive displays we've seen this season.
